Graduation & More

Our daughter, Carole, (Gilbert, Marie) has graduated from Univ of Phoenix in July with a B.S. in Accounting. She will start again in January to work on her Masters Degree. Looking to be a CPA one day.

Her son, Jamelle, (Carole, Gilbert, Marie) was accepted into the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus last Sept, 2007. This year he has graduated to the Towne Singers level in the chorus. He will be appearing in 4 concerts this year.

Family Update

Melissa (Art, Marie) sends the family an update from Ohio. I am going to school fulltime and have only two more semsters until I get my associates in nursing. Then I can take my NCLEX for RN. My oldest Richard is 19 and graduated from HS this year. William is 15 and he is living with his dad and doing ok. Roshelle is 12 and she attends Wellston Middle School. She plays the flute in the band. She loves animals and hates math. Sammy the youngest is 6 and he is in first grade at Bundy Elementry. He loves school, Monster Jam, Gravedigger, and music of all kinds. I call him my little red, don't know if he likes it or not but I do anyways.

New Baby

This is Payten Rodriguez.
She was born to Stephen(Barbara, Eileen, Maurine) and Becky Rodriguez on the 4th of July in Crestview, Florida where Stephen is stationed with the Air Force. She is darling, we are so happy for you.

Wedding

Brenda (Wally, Marie) was married to Joseph Russell on July 4, 2008.

Congratulations to the happy couple. We wish you much happiness.

New Babies in the Messinger Family

Bert's (Wally, Marie) stepdaughter gave birth to a baby boy

on April 2,2008, his name is Hunter.

Greg (Brenda, Wally, Marie) & Anastasia

gave birth to a girl on April 18,2008,

her name is Auvery Leeann.

They are both just as cute as can be.

Debbie and Jeff are in Africa doing mission work for their church. Dana, Debbie's daughter lives in New Mexico and was not at the wedding. Dana has two children. Jeana, Debbies daughter has two children and was also not at the wedding. Jennifer, Debbie's daughter has 4 children and was not at the wedding. Bert and Sandra have two more daughters that were not at the wedding and three more grandchildren that were missing in the picture also. I sure wish I could get all of them together for a family picture.

Promotion & New Home

Ann Lee (Eileen, Maurine) received a promotion to Supervisor at one of the busiest DMV's in Las Vegas and she just bought a beautiful home for her and her 16 year old daughter to live in.

Mission Call

Joshua Wahlen (Donna, Eileen,Maurine) just received his mission call to the Washington mission. He will report to the MTC in October. This is exciting, the family wishes you well.

Our son Stephen (Eileen, Marueen) is now in his second year of teaching school. He is teaching Auto Mechanics at the High School level. What a great profression, good luck to you.

Way to go Heather!

Our grand daughter Heather (Stephen, Eileen, Maurine) just drove herself to BYU in her brand new Honda Fit that she won from a local radio station. She won because of her good grades and her attendance during her Senior year in High School. Heather attended a year of College in Nevada before applying at BYU so she could use all the scholarships she received. You are one smart girl Heather, way to go & Keep up the good work!!!

Marriage
